Whoops! Looks like my fun-filled weekend caused me to slack on blog posts. I woke up Saturday and weighed myself. I don't know what it is about the scale that I just MUST start my day standing on that ridiculous thing!!! Oh well, I was thrilled because I lost 6.1 pounds in 11 days! I haven't weighed myself since and will be blaming that on FOOTBALL. haha! I went out yesterday for the Redskins opening game and had steamed shrimp (not so bad) andddd I split an order of Philly Cheesesteak Potato Skins with the BFF. So I will definitely wait until my official weigh-in day, Friday, this week.. in hopes that that 6 turns into a double digit! As far as the Shakes themselves, I really love them. The only new one I had all weekend was the Chocolate Covered Strawberry. Not bad, a little gritty though! I don't think I blended it long enough because I was in a hurry. I will be trying delicious flavors this week like Pina Colada and German Chocolate Cake! Also hoping this ''cold'' goes away as quickly as it came.. Going to Baltimore this weekend to get Gluten Free Chinese Food (PF Changs. Trip already planned and I'm going to be honest, I wasn't at all eager to cancel it! *Foodie talking) and to visit a Gluten Free Bakery amongst other places like the Baltimore Zoo, Baltimore Observatory and possible a museum or 2.

Day 10
Weigh-in day! I've never been so excited to step on a scale in my life! Today marks Day 10 and I've lost 4.9lbs! :) I'm happy and feel so energized. Short and sweet today.. have a great weekend!

Day 9
Soooo. I had a wonderful day and a great gym session! Burned 220 calories on the elyptical and did a full round of weights! Tomorrow is weigh in and marks my 10th day on Body By Vi. I'm super excited. Plus, TGIF! Haha goodnight followers, whoever you may be :)

Day 8!
Yay! Finally made it over the one week mark. Today is the first day I don't feel hungry allllll day long. Just like any other diet, this is a lifestyle change where you have to give your body a chance to get used to less calories and to withdrawal from toxins (whatever they may be) but in my case, it was fatty calories and sugar. I feel amazing today! I also cheated... with my scale! ;-) I just hadddd to weigh myself, and I've lost 2.9 pounds even with my cheating over the weekend. 3 pounds in week 1 and hoping to make it 4-5 additional pounds in this next week!! :)

Day 7..
Okay, so today marks the start of Day 7. As I suspected, I had a little trouble over the weekend. I snacked more and had lunch on Saturday instead of my shake. (chicken salad on a bed of lettuce with sliced tomatoes and a pickle). I also went to the Bonfire in Ocean City on Labor Day but mostly ate Crab Legs and Steamed Shrimp. I'm not mad at myself because it takes time getting used to a diet and by this upcoming weekend, I'm sure I will be more strict on myself. Plus, it's not like I had a 12inch sub and fries all weekend!!
This morning has been great so far. Having my frozen mocha coffee shake was great! so delicious!! For lunch, I made the carrot cake shake which is a handful of carrots, some low fat cream cheese, cinnamon, nutmeg, almond milk and of course, 2 scoops of ''the mix'', oh and ice! lol! It smells and looks wonderful. I also packed snacks and have the rest of the week planned out.
Because of my ''bad behavior'' over the 3-day weekend, I will be spending 2 hours in the gym after work and will be putting in 3 gym days this week so I'm pretty happy about that. I need to get on a regular gym routine again, spending a minimum of 3 days a week there.
Friday is ''weigh-in'' day for me... keeping my fingers crossed! :-)

Day 3
It's been pretty easy to avoid any cravings so far because I've been at work every day. Well, today is Friday. Weekends are usually full of cooking big meals, baking and going out. So, this first weekend should be interesting. I think I'm going to make a huge amount of chicken stir fry tomorrow to eat for dinner and snack on. Brown Rice, Baked Chicken Breast, Broccoli, Green and Red Peppers, Onions, and I might grill some asparagus just to have an extra veggie.
Back to today's activities. I woke up starving this morning and made a Mocha Coffee shake for breakfast and the Peanut Butter Cup for lunch. Yeah yeah, no fruits but I did bring a Banana for one of my snacks. I also weighed myself again even though I know forming this daily habit isn't going to be a good idea. I did however lose an additional pound so that makes for a total of 2.2lbs since August 29th. I promise to my followers and myself (lol) to not weigh myself again until next Friday. I chose Friday's as my weigh in days because it's the start of the weekend for me. I'm hoping to view it as something to look forward to each week from here on out and will celebrate the whole weekend! How do I do that without food? HaHa.. There's my inner ''foodie'' speaking. My rewards are going to be pedicures, shopping, new workout clothes or tools, etc.. Should be fun for my wallet, right? :) Anyway - I hope everyone has a great day and weekend!

Day 2.
First and foremost, please read "My Story" at the top of the page.
I guess you're wondering why my first post is entitled "Day 2". I've been through so much already, I knew by today that I needed to make a blog. It's mainly for my own purposes to help track my story and to look back on in 90 days.
Yesterday was pretty crazy for me. I kept thinking "I can't do this" but today is completely different. I absolutely loved my Cafe Latte Breakfast Shake & my Blue Banana Shake for lunch. I snacked on Almonds, Reduced Fat String Cheese (1 serving!) and am going to have an apple this afternoon. I'm not hungry at ALL, my choice of shakes has left my inner junk-craver completely satisfied as well! I'm looking forward to seeing what this extra long weekend is going to bring. Will I be hungry? Will I have ''weekend cravings''?
