Day 7..

Okay, so today marks the start of Day 7. As I suspected, I had a little trouble over the weekend. I snacked more and had lunch on Saturday instead of my shake. (chicken salad on a bed of lettuce with sliced tomatoes and a pickle). I also went to the Bonfire in Ocean City on Labor Day but mostly ate Crab Legs and Steamed Shrimp. I'm not mad at myself because it takes time getting used to a diet and by this upcoming weekend, I'm sure I will be more strict on myself. Plus, it's not like I had a 12inch sub and fries all weekend!!

This morning has been great so far. Having my frozen mocha coffee shake was great! so delicious!! For lunch, I made the carrot cake shake which is a handful of carrots, some low fat cream cheese, cinnamon, nutmeg, almond milk and of course, 2 scoops of ''the mix'', oh and ice! lol! It smells and looks wonderful. I also packed snacks and have the rest of the week planned out.

Because of my ''bad behavior'' over the 3-day weekend, I will be spending 2 hours in the gym after work and will be putting in 3 gym days this week so I'm pretty happy about that. I need to get on a regular gym routine again, spending a minimum of 3 days a week there.

Friday is ''weigh-in'' day for me... keeping my fingers crossed! :-)

  1. Diets take some getting use to and I'd say you're doing pretty darn good so far. So you cheated a little... It's all good because you're at least acknowledging it and you're not blowing it off. Great job! Keep it up, girl!
