It's been pretty easy to avoid any cravings so far because I've been at work every day. Well, today is Friday. Weekends are usually full of cooking big meals, baking and going out. So, this first weekend should be interesting. I think I'm going to make a huge amount of chicken stir fry tomorrow to eat for dinner and snack on. Brown Rice, Baked Chicken Breast, Broccoli, Green and Red Peppers, Onions, and I might grill some asparagus just to have an extra veggie.
Back to today's activities. I woke up starving this morning and made a Mocha Coffee shake for breakfast and the Peanut Butter Cup for lunch. Yeah yeah, no fruits but I did bring a Banana for one of my snacks. I also weighed myself again even though I know forming this daily habit isn't going to be a good idea. I did however lose an additional pound so that makes for a total of 2.2lbs since August 29th. I promise to my followers and myself (lol) to not weigh myself again until next Friday. I chose Friday's as my weigh in days because it's the start of the weekend for me. I'm hoping to view it as something to look forward to each week from here on out and will celebrate the whole weekend! How do I do that without food? HaHa.. There's my inner ''foodie'' speaking. My rewards are going to be pedicures, shopping, new workout clothes or tools, etc.. Should be fun for my wallet, right? :) Anyway - I hope everyone has a great day and weekend!
Sounds like you're off to a good start! And with those weekend activities lined up I'm sure you'll have no problem telling your "inner foodie" to back off:-) Keep up the great work!
